The question is...how can I be Roman Catholic if I'm Jurgen Moltmann? I suspect if von Balthasar were in the list I might have scored differently...

You scored as Anselm.

Anselm is the outstanding theologian of the medieval period. He sees man's primary problem as having failed to render unto God what we owe him, so God becomes man in Christ and gives God what he is due. You should read 'Cur Deus Homo?'

Dear Andy,

I demand explanations of my results!

Or, I humbly ask for your help in understanding these results!

You scored as Emergent/Postmodern.

You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

Yeah, there's NO WAY I'm neo-orthodox. Barth did a crappy job by separating theology from philosophy. Radically orthodox, now that I would believe. A lot of the questions really lacked subtlety. Oh, and I'm certainly not Moltmann.

The good news is that I'm 100% Chalcedon Compliant. Which is good to know, I guess
